Join us for this early September trip on the shores of Lake George as we explore this 32-mile long lake by kayak during the day and enjoy the comforts of a hot shower, delicious dinner, and a cozy bed each night at our inn. This is an ideal time to paddle on the lake since the summer crowds have dwindled, the days are still nice and warm, and the evenings cool and crisp. If we're lucky we may even see the early signs of autumn on the surrounding mountainsides. Meandering along the shore, we'll be able to see typical Adirondack-style lodges and boathouses as well as venture out to the Narrows, a section of the lake filled with an abundance of small islands in a narrow channel flanked by beauiful mountain ranges on either side. Enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the islands and capture spectaular views both north and south on the lake. This trip is open to all levels of paddlers.
