Bahamian Exumas

The Bahamian Exumas

A spectacular destination that accommodates paddlers of all skill level

Arrive on Monday Feb. 26th - Depart on Monday, March 4th

Our adventure begins the day after we arrive in the sunny Exumas. Get ready to explore the Exuma archepelago, island hopping and enjoying the diverse terrain at each landing. Long sandy beaches, shaded palm groves, and protected hideaways amongst limestone outcroppings are only part of the varied geography we’ll discover as we paddle the crystal clear waters. And speaking of crystal clear waters, you’re exploration will offer views both above and below the water surface, a unique opportunity that will allow us to see first-hand the vibrant colors of the undersea world and its inhabitants.

Take it a step further and imagine yourself enjoying a well deserved siesta on a warm sandy beach at the end of the day, dinner awaits. There is nothing quite like a full day of adventure ending with a thoughtfully prepared hot meal, shared with friends as you recount the day’s adventures, anticipate what’s to come, and watch the sun set over the horizon.

Gain a sense of that proverbial desert island as you experience standing on a sandy shore looking out across the deep blue sea. The physical remoteness yields a feeling of solitude, yet lends itself to the camaraderie of your fellow adventurers with an uplifting spirit. This is the Exuma experience and we're sure you'll enjoy your time here. Join us for this Caribbean odyssey and get that winter tan you've always longed for. For the most part the accommodations will be on the beach but we do plan to spend a night at either end of the trip in one of the local Inns so you'll have a chance to mingle with the friendly natives and enjoy a hot shower.
